Overview[]
Shovels are tools that allow the player to dig up ice cubes in the winter, ground in the forest and sand on the beach and islands. This tool can be upgraded to amethyst tier. The higher the tier of the shovel, the faster resources can be gathered.
While digging with a shovel, there is a small chance to obtain stone, gold, diamond or amethyst resources instead of sand / ground / ice. This chance is significantly increased when wearing the crown of luck.

The Stone shovel was added in the 'Vamos A La Playa' update. The Golden, Diamond and Amethyst shovel were added in the 'My House, My Castle' update.
As of the 'What Do I Look Like' update, in a pond/lake or ocean, you can only dig ground.
The shovels can only use 3 different items for each recipe.

The Stone Shovel is the lowest tier of shovels.
Stone Shovel can mine only one resource at a time, which can be ground, sand, or ice cubes, depending on the biome. To do this, just hold a shovel in hand and left click. While digging in any biome with the stone shovel, there is a small chance to obtain 1 stone, gold or diamond instead of the ground resource.

While digging in any biome with the golden shovel, there is a small chance to obtain 2 stone, gold or diamond instead of the ground resource.

While digging in any biome with the diamond shovel, there is a small chance to obtain 3 stone, gold or diamond instead of the ground resource.
